Freedom of a Ship

She lifted her hand and pushed it down her neck eyes determined.

"I know" she said and this time she was determined to win.

She moved forward and slipped her dress up exposing her pantaloons. She then pushed forward and kicked him in between his legs. She swung her sword forward and pointed it at his face.

Jack dropped his sword and held his crotch. He fell back and looked up at the sword, now in his face."There's that pirate lass i know. Perfect mark in swordsmanship." He said with a grunt and grin. He reached his hand up for her to help him up.

She looked at him slightly not truly trusting him, but nonetheless she stuck out her hand.

"You okay?" she asked as she waited for him to take her hand.

He reached up and grabbed her hand, pulling himsef up. He sheathed his sword and turned to her."No, round two. How to use a gun, savvy? And don't worry, Love. We'll be using that target i carved earlier." He walked to the boat and held out the extra flintlock pistol.

She grabbed it tentatively not really liking a pistol. She wrapped her hands around it and walked over to the target. She looked over at him and tilted her head.

"Do I just aim and shoot? Or is there a technique?"

Jack watched her as he emptied the wet powder from his own pistol and took out a small bottle from his pocket and poured some new powder in and reloaded it. "Not so close, Love. Come back here with me."He explained. "Hold the pistol by the handle like this and put your finger over this trigger like so, don't pull on it. Now take aim. At first you may need both hands to steady your aim but you'll get good in no time. Enough to use one hand. Point the gun but aim slightly higher than what you want to hit because the ball you fire drops when you shoot..try to hit the center of that target by aim and gently squeeze on the trigger. Be careful, Love. Cuz there's no way to block a bullet."

She walked towards Jack and did as he asked. She took aim, not used to handling guns she closed an eye to get a clearer aim. She closed her eyes and let it go. She was pushed back a few steps at the force of it.

She smiled brightly seeing it hit the target. It was by no means the center but it had hit the second ring.

Jack clapped."Good job, Love. Now try it with your eyes open. And keep your ground. Oh and to counter the force of said shot, bend your elbow and try it then."He said and took aim, firing and hit dead center.

She looked at him with amazement.

"Right" she said

She followed his advice and forced herself to make a strong stance. She aimed and shot again forcing herself to remain in stance, but the force had made her feet submerge in the sand. She squealed when she was about an inch away from the center. She began to jump up and down in excitement.

"Remember what you learned here, Love. Could save your life one day. Unless of coarse you want to try again."Jack said, tucking his gun away and waiting to hear what Angel wanted to do.

She handed him the pistol and looked up at the sky.

"Jack.....how long do we have before we have to go back?" she asked.

"As long as you'd like, Love." He said, handing her her pistol and sword back. "These are your's now. A symbol of your being a pirate and or a means to defend your onsey, savvy?"He said with a smiled and moved closer to her, looking into her eyes and putting his hat properly on her. "You're a pirate now, Love. How's it feel?"

She took the objects and held them close to her chest. She smiled shyly and looked at him with gratefulness.

"It's the best thing I have ever accomplished Jack" she said "A have a new sense of freedom now that I never thought I would be able to do."

"That's right, Love. What say you, we stick around just a bit longer, eh?"He asked, but before she could say a word, he leaned in and kissed her, with the light of the moon glinting over the darkened waters, the gentle swooshing of the waves and the sight of the black pearl resting just at the horrizon as the sand glowed a ghostly white. It was just them, together.

She was surprised at his actions but she didn't really care. She dropped the weapons she held and kissed back, her cheeks flushing. She thought the moonlight was perfect.

Jack held the kiss as he brought a hand up her shoulder. He pulled back. "You look great in me hat by the way."Then kissed again.

She giggled but they were silenced as he kissed her once more. She shivered feeling his hand on her shoulder and she lifted her hands on his cheeks.

He started the slip the sleave of her dress down her arm. He grinned into the kiss.

She kissed back but pulled back slightly just centimeters from his lips and tugged his beard.

"You're really cheeky, you know that right" she whispered against his lips.

Jack smile. "I get that alot. But then again, It's part of me charm, Love. " He whispered then kissed again, slipping the other sleave down too.

She sighed into the kiss half annoyance have amusement. She kissed him back and slipped her hand in his belt tugging him towards her. She had an idea, but while he was entertained tugging her sleeves it could work.

He held the kiss going and slipped her sleaves all the way down and grinned.

She shivered and slipped her hand in his belt .She shifted around and smiled into the kiss taking out the compass. She then pulled back and started running.

"Come on Jack, how 'bout a game of tag eh love?" she purred.

She laughed and began to run shaking the compass as she did run letting the wind take off his hat.

His hat blew to just in front of his feet. He picket it up, dusted it off and put it on and chased after her.

She laughed and placed the compass in her corset letting her hands free. She ran as fast as she could, she was glad she was barefoot.

"Too old to run Jack" she called out and ran faster.
