She shrugged.

"I would prefer to be untied and especially if it means that I know if we will survive" she said "is it that you want to die for not asking for help?" she asked

Once again she started to laugh, "Me die? oh you are to funny girl, i could sail this ship with my eyes closed." She cut the ropes, "If you try to escape i will shoot you, if you get in my way i will shoot you, are we clear?" She asked her eyes narrowing darkly.

She blinked.

"Where can I run away?" she answered.

She stretched and walked up to get and walked over towards the rudder. She looked over and saw the it was pointing east, and they were to hail west. She turned it and tightened some masses. She mentally thanked her father for teaching her something about sails.

"People are surprising." She said shrugging, "Trust me you dont want to leave me when we get to Tortuga, bad things happen to pretty helpless girls."

She turned to look at her frowning.

"I'm not completely helpless" she said "Why go to Tortuga anyways if I may ask?"

"I have to see a man about a dog," She sarcastically spoke rolling her eyes.

She glared.

"Lovely" she hissed."Drink and gamble I bet" she muttered.

"Dont think you know me Girl." She said glaring at her, "If i have a drink that my own business and if you dont shut up i'll sell you for a bottle of rum."

She huffed.

"Excuse me Captain Beth" she grumbled.

Bloody pirates, so much for being like my books she thought.

"What did you expect? That we'd be best of friends?" She asked snorting, "This is the real world grow up."

She nodded.

"I see that Captain" she said.

She tugged the rope repeatedly trying to tighten the mass.

Beth grabbed the rope and gave it a good tug and tied it off. "You know you shouldn't be so trusting of people, it was way to easy to kidnap you."

She frowned.

"People know me in Port Royal" she replied "Rarely do pirates even touch the ground of it. Last time was two years ago. The Black Pearl his ashore"

she sighed.

"I honestly didn't know there were women pirates"

"Thats because most of them dress like men." She replied, "Wait... The black pearl?" she asked her interest sparked.

She nodded tentatively fearing if she said too much.

"I-I did" she said .

She started to laugh, "No doubt it was Sparrow who be stupid enough to go there."

She tilted her head.


"Jack...Sparrow?" she asked

She shook her head.

"No, no it was reigned by Captain Barbossa" she replied "Sent the whole town into chaos"

She blinked at her then laughed even harder, "He lost the pearl?! My Captain always did say his luck would run out."

She tilted her head.

"Your captain? What rank are you?" she asked curiously.

"Used to be First mate but the crew was sunk so now i'm a free agent."

She nodded interested.

"How did you become a pirate?" she asked leaning against the rope.

She always wanted to meet a pirate but she never thought that she would be kidnapped by one.

"I never liked following the rules so it seemed logical." She said with a shrugged.

She nodded.

"Thought you kidnapped me I must say, you're the first pirate I've ever met" she said curiously "Most people are born into piracy I bet"

"Some, other it just happens." She retorted, "and some people are just bad to the bone."

She bit her lip.

"I read in a book, that there's allied pirates and lords and all that" she asked "Is that real?"

She knew that there would only be a chance in a lifetime to talk to one.
